I grew up in a family that loved to have fun. We succeeded at this, but everything centered around alcohol. I was a young woman who loved to party. I had plenty of friends, but one thing I noticed was that I kept getting burned. My friendships were filled with drama, gossip, and backstabbing. I was never truly happy.

After I had my son, my aunt invited me to a Colorado Women’s Connection event. When I arrived, I quickly realized that I had never met women like this. They were real, open, upfront, and actually cared about each other. There was no talking behind people’s backs, no backbiting. They had a blast, but without alcohol! I had never seen anything like it.

When the speaker talked about Jesus, I was confused. What did she mean—we have to die to live? I didn’t understand it, but I decided to go back for the social aspect.

After I attended 11 meetings, it suddenly hit me. God loves me for who I am and I can have a relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus! That day, 17 years ago I accepted Jesus as my Savior. My life has never been the same. I know peace and joy now. When I lived in the world, I always got hurt. When I live for Jesus, I just feel love.  .... It suddenly hit me. God loves me for who I am...... 

Growing in Christ was a process. I became involved in Stonecroft Bible Studies. As I studied God’s Word, I began to realize that my lifestyle was not pleasing to God. He showed me things I needed to change, and I trusted Him to help me. When I did, so many miracles occurred in my life! I also got involved in volunteering for Stonecroft Ministries, I saw women giving their time working together to put together encouraging events and I never thought I could do that! 17 years later, I have grown and matured as a woman who loves to help others, I started doing small and easy volunteer work and grew into taking on more responsibility from helping decorate the room to leading the meetings to,

 Now, as the SRA Stonecroft Regional Administrator, I love sharing and training women just like you who are reading this, to know that you are so valued and have so much to give and offer to other women of all ages. To be the woman God intended you to be. To share your input, concerns, creativity, talent, and wisdom..etc.. 

Would you like to experience the True Love that Jesus offers? 

God loves you so much that He made a way for you to have a relationship with Him, and be with Him forever in heaven. He sent His only Son, Jesus, to earth to pay the penalty for your sins, (your mistakes) by dying on  the cross. Then, He conquered death and rose from the grave. The Bible tells us that accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior is the only way to heaven (John 14:6). You can invite Jesus into your life right now!

Dear God,

Please forgive me of my sins. I believe You sent Your Son, Jesus, to die on the cross so I can be forgiven. I turn  from my sinful ways and commit my life to You. I know You will be by my side to help me. Thank you for Your Holy Spirit to guide me. Thank you for providing a way for me to know you personally, and to be with You forever in heaven. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
